Default Which Intake Manifold To Get??

i am getting ready for my next mod (intake manifold) and am having trouble on deciding which way to go.

1- have the stock LS3 manifold ported (to me that would look the best)
2- wait for the new fast 102
3- wait for the new fast 102 and have it ported

can anyone take these 3 options and assign anticipated RWHP & RWTQ numbers to them along with approx costs for each??

tks, dal

Depends on how long you want to wait..I got tired of waiting so I had my LS3 manifold ported by Spinmonster. Going to get it dynoed later this fall to see if I gained much. I did the TB at the same time, and the butt dyno says throttle response improved, plus the car seems to pull harder midrange..

For a max-effort end result build you will need to go with the ported fast...no question about it.

For the most bang for the buck I'd probably spend 1/3 the price on Formato's new stage 2 ported stocker and spend the rest on something else.

Port the stocker. If the FAST turns out to be worth the $$ you can upgrade and sell your ported stocker. This way you can have the power now and not wonder when the mythical FAST will finally show up.
