NPP rattle
I had an NPP system installed on my 2005 manual a few weeks ago and everything seemed fine. About a week or so after installation I noticed a rattling sound and saw that the valves were not closing all the way, when set to "closed". I took the car back to the istaller and they said one of the valves was broken, and adjusted the system. Everything worked for about another week or so, and the same problem began again; however, I have not been able to take it back to the installer because I have been moved to Florida with the Navy (so I dont know if the valve is broken or simply not closing). My questions are: has anyone experienced this, and does it sound like a problem from the exhaust itself, the vacuum system, or installation? Any info I could get would be great. Thanks

If you have a vacuum guage you can attach it to the vacuum line that goes to the butterfly actuator taht is acting up.
If you have good vacuum then it could be a bad actuator.
If you have low vacuum, then you may have a kink in your vacuum line from the motor to the solenoid, or a leak somewhere.
If you have a mity vac hand vacuum pump to test with you can pull vacuum on each of the actuators and see if they hold vacuum and open and close properly.
