Default Another Widebody Conversion Thread..

Ordering widebody but I am not crystal clear on rims after the change. Can I just get my current wheels widen to 13'? Or do I have to buy aftermarket rims with the correct offset? If so, can anyone provide me a link to the place that has these rims?

I read fromt he search option that I can just buy Z06 rims in the back and I will be GTG?

If you're doing the widebody (front and rear) you could do Z06 rims all around. I prefer to increase the tire size in the front and the back proportionately. I went 5 sizes larger in front and back (295 front and 335 rear) with 18X10.5 front and 18X13 rear. I only did the rear fenders.

I ended up going even wider in the rear with 345's on a 13 x 20 rim and up front 285's on 10 x 19 rim. If you go any more up front you will rub.

I'm running 295 in front with stock C6 fenders (non-Z06) in front. It's all in the offset and nobody does it better than CCW. 335/18 is as wide as Toyo R888s come. For track tires I'd go wider in the rear.

San & Slammer - Very Nice! I've heard from other members that stock Z06 and replica Z06 front style wheels in 9.5" might have some clearance and rubbing isues on lowered C6's. Obviously, you two have custom wheels with different offsets.
