Default Need some advice

I just got my first vette. It is an '07. I am wondering what is some easy ways to initially boost my horsepower out of the LS2. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

Your first thought should be how does this mod affect my warranty.

Then if you are still going to mod it, you should set goals for HP, dollars spent, and driveability/fuel mileage.

I added American Racing headers, hi flow cats, Corsa exhaust, Vararam, 160 thermostat, and a tune to my last LS2, and it was awesome.

I added similar mods, but different brands. B&B Headers, MagnaFlow and K&N along with several other mods (look at profile) and it runs good.

Thanks for the info. I am going to have to lay out a plan on where to start. As for the warranty it expires in 1 month. Thanks again!

I did air intakes and cat backs in both my 01 C5 and my 05 C6. Definitely the best bang for the buck (for starters). However... you might consider taking an autocross driving class first. You might be really surprised by how much power your car has right now when driven correctly. I know I'm still learning how to handle what I've got! Congratulations on your new vette and be safe!

I would drive it stock for at least a few months, and track it stock too, before considering mods. Also I assume you mean the 3 yr. bumper to bumper warranty runs out in a month, the powertrain warranty should have 2 more years after that.

You are right, thanks. I forgot about that. The autocross suggestion is a great one, I will have to look into that. Does anyone know of companies/shops that do solid work in the Jacksonville, Fl area? Thanks again for everyones replies!
