Power top issue
I have a 2005 convertible and am having a slight problem with the power top. My car has about 35,000 miles on it and the top has always worked great until just a couple of weeks ago. I live in Southern Arizona so there is lots of opportunities to put the top down.
What is happening now is that when I try to put the top down the rear of the top first goes up, then the tonneau cover goes up, and at that time, it just stops. I can wait a couple of seconds and press the button again and it continues to work normally and go down the rest of the way. It is very intermittent and sometimes works as it should.
I cannot find a place here in Tucson that knows how to fix or even troubleshoot the problem. There are 2 Chevy dealers here but neither one has any experience with this issue.
