Telescopic Function won't work
I have an '06 Coupe.
All of a sudden my telescopic steering wheel won't telescope. I checked the passenger compartment fuseblock for the fuse marked "TELE SW/MEM SEAT MOD" (Telescope Switch, Memory Seat Module) as this seemed like the only fuse that might be involved. The fuse was fine.
Any ideas why the thing would stop telescoping?
Thanks . . .Stu

Could be a loose wire. With the wheel coming out it could have pulled one off the back of the harness or something to that effect.

Mine stopped working about a year ago now but it just happes to be where I need it so I didn't worry about. Hopefully this thread will give me some clues on how to fix mine as well.
My fuse is also good...

Coincidentally, mine is also in the right place - - - but maybe someday
my wife will drive the car and it will need to be moved.

Pretty sure was there a TSB about the wiring clip and the possibility of wires coming out. This is where I'd start looking.

Tsb
Anyone ever get to the root of this problem?? Was it a tsb or just a loose connector?

Neither.
Took it to the dealer. Work order says - "No output from module. Replaced N4924 module"
Now it works. (Glad I bought the GM Protection Plan - has saved me a fortune.)

That sounds more like the problem. You don't see to many loose wires on a C6.

Where is that module located?

Is this the little black box module located under the drivers seat?
