I have a silver C6 and would like to put black headlights. I have seen a few members use the silver and it looked nice. If your interested in trading black head lights for silver pm me. There are photos of my Z51 in my profile.
I think they run about 1200 for a new set from what I recall. Black has been hard to get a hold of too because a lot of guys are doing this. Ive seen it on white orange and silver and it looks good on all of em.

They're about a grand used per set and around 900 new each.

I'm going to just buy them new from my connection at the dealership. 1800.00. I don't know if there is a place to get them for less..

I have a new Black set for 1400 plus shipping and a used set with new lens for 1080.00 shipped. I can also take yours and paint them black with new lens for 750.00
Seriously? I thought you have to bake them to get the lenses off and there are fogging issues? I have a body shop that I send all my clients to and he was saying that it would fog up if you open it. Is that correct?

No more of a fog issue than what GM says is normal and you may or may not have anyway. It all depends on where you live whether you'll have any fog issue or a little. The lights are not a sealed unit. They are vented to let the heat of the HID bulbs disipate.
Any situation where you may have a quick tempature change could cause for or moisture in the lights until the HID heat burns it off.
Do a search on here under my screen name and ask a few of the people I have did this for. No problems going on 2 years now.
If you do a search for "Headlights" you see some pics of the vents (2) in each headlight.
