Default I hate leaks!!!

What a mess...

Ok, ok, I guess I got a little carried away again...

Actually, it all needed to come out;

I had the leaks in the front of the motor around Harmonic Balancer, my FAST is leakinging in the rear where it was modified, I wanted to upgrade my rod bolts in preparation for N02 and figured I might as well put on an Underdrive Pulley to keep from blowing alternators from over revving while I was there, so the Motor came out...

My Ram Adjustable Slave cylinder needed rebuilt to stop it from leaking due to over extension so the torque tube needed to come down...

I had a leak in between my Rear and Trans as well as an axle boot that needed to be replaced so it call came out as well...

Oh, I also needed to replace my starter and found a broken Trans mount on the drivers side so Pfadt mounts are going in along with another starter...

It should be all back together this weekend if I get my rod bolts in tomorrow, that is, if someone would be kind enough to give me all the torque specs for Rods, Oil Pan, Harmonic balancer, front cover, axle nut and intake manifold...

Please, no comments about my less than professional looking garage, this isn't my day job if you couldn't tell...

Oh, you should of seen the look on wifes face when she came home and saw what I was up too... then then then I was

You are the MAN for having the gumption to tackle this. I love to wrench but other life commitments prevent me from doing much of it.

My 2 boys are getting older so soon I'll have help...stupid me bought a house with a 8.5' garage so I can't get a lift in there! I'm working my butt off to buy a new house with a shop.

But I spy that snow shovel...I'm quite happy to say you won't find that in my garage!

What rear end and clutch are you running these days?

You may say I'm the Man, but my wife has other words for me...

I'm still running the RPM Stage 3 Rear w/3:90's and an RPM Level 5 Z06 Trans all being engaged by a Zoom 900lbft Dual Disk w/Alluminum Flywheel.
I bought the Trans second hand from a forum member here that had it as a spare for his Rolex car, it was never used, the problem is, even with the 3:90's I still have a much taller 1st gear for some reason, I'm thinking that the gear ratio's have been changed for Rolex type racing... My 60's are worse now than before I changed to 3:90's, 1st is just too darn tall.

Whoa yea...some skinnies! Unhook the sway bar and clean the car out....run on low fuel...add a gallon of race gas...

Post up that 10 second slip. No doubt.

BTW my wife has those words for me too when I do start wrenching. I never tackle anything like this. I too hate leaks so I kind of have a rule, I don't like to tackle jobs in my garage that will cause huge puddles on the floor.

I also had the FAST leak again...I tried to cheat first time with some epoxy, but it cracked. This time I used the JB Weld as per Spin's threads. So far so good. But I could flat rate those intakes, I swap them in 10 minutes these days. Takes longer to finagle the FRC's off the car.

Are you kidding... You have a lift. That moves you much further up the status ladder than a clean garage.

Might as well put a stroker crank in there since the motor is out. The wife will love that!
