Here lately i have been having problems opening my door..You can here it clicking trying to open up, but it just takes awhile to finally pop open.I put a brand new battery in my fob, so does anybody know what else it could be...Thanks guys..
I hope this kind of issue is not the first ripple of an electrical tsanami of problems with the 2005 cars. I, too, have had weird things happen..... that simply just shouldn't be an issue with cars costing this much. Usually re-indexing the windows, disconnecting the battery, etc., resolves the problem, but..damn!

I had to swap both door handle switches in my 05 and that made it all good. Took me 20 minutes to get in the car one time! The door handle switches are cheap and easy to replace. Good Luck...
Had a little problem opening...thought it was me. Now door won't open. You hear the solenoid trying to go inside the pillar but it doesn't release the door. Both manual pulls work fine and I've changed the FOBs. How can you get inside the pillar to access the works. When I start taking the screws out the mechanism getts loose and I don't want it to fall into the pillar where I can't get it back.
OOps..Same thing when trying to open from inside or out...just hear the solenoid trying to go.
