Default Need some help with F55!

So the other i fudged up badly when I was dropping my c6. While removing the rear shocks i did not realize that the magnetic ride control sensors were plugged into the top of the shock. I unbolted the shock and broke both sensors in half. Now it feels like I'm driving a Cadillac! So i call the dealer to get the sensor, and they're telling me its not a serviceable sensor, yet its removable which i don't understand! The ACDelco p/n is 89047645-right and 89047644-left. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

Those are the correct part numbers, but they are on national backorder right now. They are available seperate if you use those part numbers. Your dealer hould be able to place a **** case on them and get them ordered, but it may be a few days or more before they receive them.

If you want me to place the order, PM and we can discuss. Forum price on them is $157 and $148.

My F-55 car now wears Pfadt coilovers. The F55 has been bypassed by way of Casper's Electronics damping simulators that plug into the factory harness points at the shocks and ride position sensors.

I have my pigtails (sensors) with working connectors still in perfect condition somewhere around here. If you are interested, you're welcome to use mine (provided I can dig them up). The catch would be:

Pay the shipping, run mine, and send them back to me upon arrival of the backordered ones, so I can put the car back to stock if I ever need to. No charge.

PM me if you'd like to give that a go.

Are we talking about the same part here. I thought the OP was refering to the electrical plug on the top of the shock, not the sensor that picks up movement of the lower control arm.

The electrical connectors are not listed as an individual item, nor are they R & L. I doubt they are $148 either.
