Default front inlet hole

hey guys i know this is a stupid question but im new to corvettes and am going to be getting one within a few months. but my question is, on the Z06 the bumper has the little scoop on it, does that draw in much air? 2. on the coupe models there isnt a little scoop there, so how does the air get in through the intake efficiently? and would doing a CAI upgrade like VaraRam be worth it or not? i plan on doing H/C/E/I/ & later probably FI or spray.

again sorry for the stupid question but i am new to vettes & am trying to learn more on them.

oh and im talking about the 05+ Corvettes LS2 or LS3 doesnt matter.

The Z06 scoop lets air in, but not like ram air. It essentially is for looks. The intake for Corvettes is much lower as Corvettes are "bottom feeders". Don't waste your money on an intake if you're going FI as the intake won't be needed.
