Default Paint Scrape Removal Help

I was going to a buddies house to watch the Yankee/Phillies game, and when I parked in the parking lot, I scraped the front end of the car against the parking curb. Yea... stupid me. Anyways I have some decent sized white scratches underneath the bumper cover which isn't TOO noticeable, but enough to bother me. Should I use regular rubbing compound or wax to try and buff them out? I think I would be able to buff the majority of the scratches out. What do you guys think?

Using a rubbing or buffing compound should do the trick, then put a coat of wax on it. Just using wax will do nothing but put a coating on top of the scratches.
