Hey guys, I FINALLY got my 08-LS3 Couple back on Friday, where I had a new ProCharger installed by Corvette Specialty of California in Riverside, CA. It has that new helical gear setup in it, but it still makes enough of that 'ProCharger' sound to let you know something beastly is under the hood; call it that unique whistle that it makes.

The problem is ... After letting it sit all night, I fired it up on Saturday morning and it made this screeching high pitch noise, as if it were a fan belt that needed replaced in the worse way. After a little warming up, the noise dissipated from being heard at idle, but was still there when applying the throttle. After driving for about 20 minutes, the noise at higher RPM also dissipated. I was able to to get it down to CSOC on Saturday afternoon, where Mike tightened the belt a little. He didn't really think there was anything to worry about, but again by the time I got it down there it was pretty much toned down and gone away. So this morning, I head out to the garage and fire it up again and it's the same thing, if not worse! Plus I've a got an engine light coming on, which they had to reset on Saturday, but it's back today again as well.

I will be taking it back in on Monday morning, but has anyone heard of this happening, or had it happen to them, or have the slightest idea what the cause is? My first thought is that it's the belt, but I heard someone say that it could be one of the components associated with the pulley. I would really appreciate any input, as for I've got a BUNDLE of $$ into this and I want it to be picture perfect. I've heard so many great things about ProCharger, so I hope there's no QA issues associated here.
