Default New to modding.....

I am planning on modding my my car (09 Z06)....H/C/I you know the deal. Projected HP is around 550 at the wheels, and I don't race the car, but do the occasional spirited run. Will I be okay on clutch, bottom end, etc. with this level of HP? I am guessing I will need to upgrade the runcraps, but wasn't planning on anything else.

Your profile shows you have a Z06. Posting in the Z06 section should get you better results. Since you are here, you will need to pick up 100 rwhp to get to 550. That should not be too hard to do with Long Tube Headers, a good set of heads and a stong cam. That with a ported intake or ported fast and a better CAI 550 should be easy. You will need better tires. My LS 2 with 450 rwhp would easily smoke my 325 runflats. Good luck.

Thanks! I updated my post to state that it is a Z06. I am doing headers, cam, ported intake and TB, along with a 160 stat. I am told the rwhp will be right around 550, besides tires is all else good?
