no, LS2 use the same ones that were on the LS6, Cathedral port
The LS3 heads are similar to LS7 heads a tall retangular port, matter of fact, they are the "rejected LS7 heads" that were the first design. LS3 heads are also first used on the L92 motor..Caddy & Denali SUV,

Thanks for your reply..... I'm posting for a buddy , could he use is ls2 heads on an ls7 ....he his under the impression that he only as to use the correct gasquets..I dont think so ...? Thanks again

why would you want to the LS7 heads are so much better than the LS2 heads. but yes they will bolt up as far as I know.

...as far as you know, that is not what I'm looking for, i expect that the bolt patern are the same, would they do the job or is this a completely waste of time to put ls2 heads on an ls7 block. thanks
