need help with inspection

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I had another car with that I had the battery disconnected for the winter and then took it in for NY insprction and had it flash an error. I had to drive it a few miles to reset the computer. Went back and it passed.

In Texas, they changed the "pass" standards this year and you have to pass all the PCM self tests but one. There are many monitor status reports stored in the PCM that are checked during inspection. My car failed the catalyst and evap control tests. I believe the catalyst test is the rear O2 test you failed. They don't always trigger a check engine light, however.
I simply reloaded the factory ignition advance table and it passed after a short drive. And my car has a mild cam, headers, ported cylinder heads, and other stuff. I failed the evap status but I still passed because I was allowed 1 to fail. Last year, you were allowed 2 to fail.
In Texas, the OBDII PCM monitors status of the following:
- Misfires
- Fuel System
- Comp Cmpt
- Catalyst (I think the rear o2 sensors provide feedback on the cat efficiency)
- Evap
- 02 sensor (this must be the front 02 sensors)
- 02 Sensor heater
- EGR system (none on the LS2)
- DLC (don't know this one)
Others marked as "N/A" are:
- Heated Cat
- 2nd Sys
- Air Cond
So, its important to see the test results before taking action. If you do redo the tune, HP Tuners will provide you the status of the tests so you don't have to keep going back and paying for a new test.
Good luck.

I would step through the tune and see if the 02 option comes up, if so get rid of them, reset codes and try insp again. If that doesn't work, call Jules or maybe you should call him anyway.
Look at this too!
