starts somtimes

On my 2005 Ive had battery problems since new..this morning it wouldnt start again so I unhooked the battery to put the charger on, but in doing so noticed good spark from the battery terminal ...hooked it back up and it started right up ,...what gives??...battery checks out, and the lights come on when I try to start it..this has happend a few times in the last couple of months, but I always just put on the battery charge before...looks to me like its not the battery, and maybe the starter is bad..anyone had this experience?

check your battery ground...

if the battery isnt grounded why would lights etc all come on...?..Ive checked and cleaned the battery terminals..is that what you mean?

There have been reports of the connection of the battery ground to the chassis being corroded or loose. So that needs a check.
