What do you all think about a Corsa sport full system with a diablo tunning chip and a drop in k & n filter? Can I expect to see 30-40 horsepower gains? I was told the diablo chip will give me 20 alone. I was also told a cold air induction system is not needed since the stock system gets plenty of air coming in and a drop in K & N would be fine. The cool thing is my dealership is willing to install and I am able to keep the warrantee if they do the work. They also run a corvette club from their dealership. I just wanted to hear everyones opinions.
A real tune would net 12-15rwhp with no mods. Diablo 'chips' are actually tuning the stock PCM. There are no chips for our cars. A real tune scans for variables and tunes for them. A tuner such as the diablosport is a guess based on stock cars. Once you change something, the guess isnt optimum.
Exhaust systems do nothing for a nearly stock car since its already a true 2.5" dual exhaust. I have seen zero HP for the corsa with a 450 to 460rwhp car.
Air cleaner assemblies such as the callaway, halltech, vararam, and Lingenfelter are well worth it. I had seen some impressive track gains on vararam cars on this forum.
For all your efforts, the better money spent will be on headers and a tune for about 2k total. That will net about 30-35rwhp.

What headers do you suggest and what tunning plug and play do you reccommend then?
