A family tradition in our home on Christmas day is to have a birthday cake for Jesus, after all it is his birthday.
Merry Christmas and happy , healthy new year to all.
It's as fine a day as any to celebrate his birthday, but Dec. 25th wasn't the day he was born. It used to be a pagan holiday that the romans turned into a Christian holiday.
It kind of reminds me of my wife's dad's birthday. He was born and raised in Thailand, and then came over here to the United States to go to college (and they still live here). Well, his official birthday that the United States has on file is actually wrong... It's a different month and day than what his actual one is. So my wife's family celebrates the real birthday as it was in Thailand, versus celebrating what is officially on his paperwork here.
It's not like we have to be precise with religion anyway, there are never explicit dates in the Bible (plus their calendar wasn't the same as ours, nor was the way they figured hours in a day).

Christmas a season when people can make a difference in another persons life
In addition to providing your generous contributions to St. Jude through Corvetteforum, I hope you'll also take a moment to pray for Evan and all the other St. Jude children, Thank You
