Just bought an 07 1LT coupe and have some 3LT seats to put in it. Anyone have a wiring diagram of the seat power and wiring, including the heater circuit?
Make sure your alternator is putting out enough amps for this option. Depending on the option package, I believe there are different amp rated alternators. That is what I recall from my old Camaro when I had to replace it way back. Maybe not for the Vette.

Everything I have says that there is only one alternator. I think the issue will be the switch on the dash to turn it on and off.
I had to remove the area were the switch is to install a shifter and I don't remember there being extra wires.
i have looked into retrofitting OEM seat heaters into my '08 2LT, so I have learned a few things.
First, there is no wiring for the seat heaters in the body harness. There are empty slots in the seat harness connector, but you will have to add wires and run them to a set of OEM switches and any where else they need to go (power supply, ground, etc.). If you got complete 3LT seats with the seat heater control modules (located under the seats), then you have most of what you need. Not quite plug and play, though.
The biggest issue will likely be the passenger seat. I do not think a 1LT car has the electrical harness for a power passenger seat. I could be wrong, but I just don't think it will be there. This could make it a serious job to do correctly. Probably not worth doing if there is no factory harness to work with. Look under the passenger seat for a wiring harness similar to what is present on the driver's seat. It might be tucked under the carpet or out of sight.
I'm going to try to get into this tomorrow afternoon. Depend on the weather, as I park my 90 Zr-1 in the garage and it takes up too much room to open the C6 doors wide enough to get the seat in and out. If not tomorrow, then Thursday for sure. Thanks for the assist. Is there a plug-in harness for the passenger seat? sometimes GM would just have auxiliary harnesses that they added to the main.

That is the big question. I think there are different body harnesses for 1, 2 and 3LT cars. I know my 2LT car does not have wiring for navigation or seat heaters. I would have to guess that 1LT cars do not have any passenger power seat wiring.
For those of you who want to upgrade your 1LT seats (or Z06 seats) to full power seats the following link can be found if you do a search. It's quite a ways back, but has a lot of very good information. Hope this helps anyone who's going to do this project. This also answers the question of whether there is a wiring pigtail on the passenger side (No). Looks like I'll be doing some hand wiring here soon.
One additional piece of advice. The support wires on the seat bottom tend to cut into the seat foam over time. This makes the seat bottom sag and become uncomfortable. When I reassembled my 3LT seats I laid a thick hand towel across the seat suppots and used hog rings to hold them in place. This should at least delay the inevitible and provide more support. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures of this, as I had to remove the 3LT seats from my C5, swap the C5 sport seats back onto the C5 tracks and rebuild the 3LT C6 seats. I was able to do this in about 4 hours total. If you can buy small hog rings it would help. All I could find was larger ones, which ate up my hands pretty bad trying to push them through the fabric in various locations.
I wrote up a complete how-to on swapping seats out in the C5 Tech section. It was a two-parter with lots of photos
