I'm having supercharger/headers/x-pipe installed (already has B&B Bullet.) Should I go ahead and upgrade the clutch and flywheel at the same time? I'm having a conservative boost/tune done so it will only be making 525-550rwhp - plenty for me. If I upgrade, should I go with a stage 2 or 3 and who makes the best components? I've also been thinking about keeping the stock clutch for a while since it only has 5800 miles. hmmm
I'm assuming yours is not a ZO6 and you most likely have the LS2 in there. It really all depends on what you're going to do with the car. I've heard the LS7 clutch is a real nice clutch but I think that might be at the limit of that clutch...especially if you're going to be beating on the car. In that case...there's plenty of aftermarket clutch companys, SPEC, RAM, etc., who have good clutches for you. Everyone here has something bad to say about each company so it's kinda hard to tell you what to go.
My advise, find a few members here with your same setup and see what clutch they're using and how they like it.
On a side note...I hear the LS9 (ZR1) clutches hold a lot of power.
