2008 C6 tires

2008 C6 tires
How much tire can you put on a 2008 C6 over the stock size. Also i went from Goodyear to Firestone and saw a better performance and ton more miles than goodyear. And the noise is 50% less, when I went to Firestone it is quiet enough that I can now hear a good stero. No issues on agressive driving traction but what tires have 6C owners seen the best performance from?

The Kumho XS tire has greatly helped me put down the power better. It also dramatically improved traction in cold temps , they also are relatively cheap compared to PS2.
Ive had PS2 tires , and they are nothing short of awesome. However, if you regularly drive aggressively I would go with the Kumho XS.
My only critique is that the sidewalls are soft. Lane change speed has been compromise, but Iam ok with that.
My previous tires were Goodyear run-flats sidewalls were superstiff so it resulted in quicker lane changes. Thats were the michellins shine, they have perfect balance between the two. However when it comes to bang for the buck Kumho XS were the way to go. (michellin tire were installed on a different vehicle)
I got them installed and balanced much cheaper than ps2

I installed Michelin 275/35-18 on the front and 305/30-19 on the rear. They fit fine on the stock wheels and do not upset the active handing.
If you decide to go all out, you can send your stock wheels into WeldCraft in MI and have them add 1" to ther inside of your stock wheels.
