Default Losing Clutch Fluid

I have a 2008 C6 with 15K on it. I purchased it used with 12500 miles but I noticed the clutch reservoir was almost empty. I took it to the dealer twice and all they did was add fluid but it continues to drop (1/4 inch) over 2,000 miles. The second time the mechanic and I did a thorough inspection of the transmission and surrounding area but there is no signs of leakage. I do not race the car and this cannot be the clutch wear (almost 1 1/2 reservoirs of fluid gone). Is this normal? Should I press the dealer to tear apart and fix it? Thanks!

It is a leak likely at the slave. There isnt much to the system so finding the leak isnt that hard. The fact that its so slow a leak is why it never drips to the ground. Its likely burning up on the clutch. Dont worry, it will get worse and show dripping eventually.

You can complain about fears of being stranded on long trips, but I doubt they will fix what in their view is functioning.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. The fluid is black so I was going to do the ranger flush on it but I think I will wait until they replace the slave cylinder and keep the fluid for future flushes.

Also check the clutch master cylinder. Sometime they will leak on the back where the rod is.
