I am looking at putting a used Z06 Bi-mode on my 2006 base coupe.
This is how it is advertised "2009-2010 C6 Corvette Z06 Bi-Mode Exhaust OEM"
Is this different than the NPP, if so, how?
I know that they also sell the NPP in a box. If I add this to the "2009-2010 C6 Corvette Z06 Bi-Mode Exhaust OEM", will that make it an NPP?
Or is the NPP completely different than the 2009-2010 Z06 Bi-mode.
Thanks.
This may have been discussed before. I used the search....but got TONS of info that would've taken a long time to find EXACTLY what I was asking about. Thanks again.
NPP is louder than the Z06. It has the same size exhaust tips as the Z06, but they are perforated on the inside. If you get the 2008 NPP it's a straight bolt-on, no welding is required. As the last person said, if you go with the Z06, you need to cut off the over-axle pipes off your stock catbacks and weld them to the Z06 mufflers.
Either way, you'll need a vacuum source to open and close them, I used the NPP in a box and it works great.
