Default LS2 Trick Flow Heads/Cam/Rockers kit

I was curious if anyone was running this package on their car? Any before and after rear wheel dyno numbers? Any opinions on quality / fitment? Thanks!

That article seems to be 550 crank horsepower. You shouldn't have any problems getting answers on this one.

I asked this same question a year ago, and got no answers. Lots of guys run just the heads, and gave great reviews.

Here was another recent thread that didn't really provide much feedback.

Well I am seriously considering it this spring. I will get before and after Dyno numbers and take pictures of the tear down / build up.

Go with a proven set of parts for your car. I can give you factual part specs to get to 480 conservatively and 500rwhp without the use of a big split cam that wasnt developed for a corvette. The heads are 2400 and the rockers needed are about 450. The cam is 420 shipped from Comp Cams. All you need is gaskets, timing chain, and head bolts.

That kit was targeted at the heavier GTO and that price range buyer.

No one got to 550 flywheel with that package, nor can you expect the same results using the various other mods a corvette can have on it such as header brands and intake manifolds.

The heads arent specified as 215's or 225's nor is any flow data to show what level head you are getting. Stock gaskets and bolts along with generic cam specs make for serious questions of performance goals.

EDIT: cam specs are: 238/242 .595/.595. I dont know the LSA but I doubt this is a cam to live with for a daily driver unless the Lord tunes it.

A TF225 with a 234 cam hits 510-520rwhp.

16 degrees of overlap in an LS2 is pretty nasty!

This is a drag car. Not a street car.
