New nt05r drag radials
Thought you guys might want to know that discount tire direct has these tires in stock ready to ship. I just purchased some 275/40/17 NT05R for $338 shipped to my door. I will keep you posted on how they hook. I've had good results with M/T and Hoosiers. Maybe these tires will be a good budget drag tire.

Those tires look like they could be really good and that is some great pricing too. 
I always hope that the manufacturers of brand new drag radials use the advantages of dissecting and deciphering the various elements that made the drag radials that came before them so great (M/T using BFG as a benchmark/starting point so to speak), hoping that's the case here as well.

Looked at Discount tires website, does not show a 325/30/19 for this tire, anyone know if this size is coming soon? Nitto's website shows 345/30/19 "Coming soon"

I looked at Discount tire direct and it shows the 345/30/19 on order. I would give them a call and ask when they are shipping.

Nitto NT05R 19" drag radials
I see on a non supporting venders sight in CA. they are due this month
(March 2010). I called my local tire dealer today and they are still waiting. Will post or appriecate anyone else posting when they are available.

I can't make an even comparison about the performance of the new nt05r against the M/T or Hoosiers, but i can tell you guy's these tires hook. When i was running the M/T and Hoosiers my car had a ss 3600 stall, then a PI 2800 stall. I have since installed my stock converter loosend to aprox 2600 rpm.
ss 3600 W/ Hoosiers 1.49-1.51 60ft
PI 2800 W/ M/t & Hoosiers 1.64-1.65 60ft
stock converter+800 rpm(2600) NT05R 1.66-1.67 60 ft.

The 345's are leaving Japan in March. That places them in the US 2 months later.
