Default Help me choose my setup

I am new to LS egines so any help would be appreciated. Here are my goals: (This would be on a LS2 M6)

450rwhp (doesn't have to be exactly 450, but around)
Another 500rpms of usable power (shift redline to 7k)
No loss of low end tq
Stock drivability. This one is important. I have been involed in plenty of builds where the power goals were achived but at the expense of some drivability. I don't want that to happen here.
NA Only

Budget is not really an issue but I of course want to spend as little as needed to achive the above goals.

Thanks to all that can contribute.

A good heads, cam, intake setup will get you to your goal. Good heads with the correct cam will keep drivability great and make power everywhere.

LS3 engine with a cam and headers, maybe some exhaust as well to make the sound even better will get you there no problem at all, it would probably ge tyou to 480rwhp actually... Scatch the idea of 7K rpm's "boom!"

doh, EDIT - Just saw you ahve a LS2, do the above with a FAST intake..

You're a perfect candidate for a base centri blower setup. Just add the blower to an otherwise stock car and you'll easily reach your power goals. Drivability will be stock. If you decide to sell your car, you can take it off. Your car will be worth more and you'll be able to sell the blower. Heads and cam will cost you almost as much and your car will be worth less with it installed. It might cost a little more on the front end, but you'll like it. If 480 isn't enough, it's easily bumped up.

I have been the centri route before and I am looking for something different. I guess the real question is do I need heads to get to that power level?

If you're against f/i, you're on the borderline with your power goals.
Easy with better heads. Can be done with a mild cam and bolt ons. With stock heads, you'll need a little more than a mild cam. Some will argue....just my experience.

Good to know. If I have to do heads to make the power and maintain drivability then so be it. I can deal with that.

On the other hand if bolt-ons and a streetable cam net me somthing like 440rwhp, I could definetly live with that too.
