Save your money and leave the stock one in there as I'm running 9's in my car with it (albeit with a cam and several other mods as well).
I briefly tried an aftermarket CAI and not only did it cause the car to run lousy due to the extremely sensitive MAF's on the LS3/LS7, I switched it out for the stock unit one night at the track and in the end only picked up a paltry 4/100ths of a second gain.

This question is asked a lot. It seems an easy way to make gads of horsepower, but HP has always been a lot harder for me to get.
Oh....by the way, you have a good intake.
You can do a search on 'intakes' and will have enough info to read all day and you still will not know which is the best intake.
If you want a true CAI...then you can eliminate about 75% of what's on the market. If you insist on spending 4 or 5 hundred dollars at least get a true CAI. Vararam would be one, but they seem to have a few quailty issues. Callaway would be good, and there are a few more.
All the CAI systems require clean air to the filter and that will require cutting, and sometimes require a tune. Just something you have to consider.
Good luck with what ever you do.
