I was told by a very reputable tuner that "metal matrix" style cats are the way to go. Ceramic cats do not flow as well, but might run a bit cleaner before the cats heat up. I'm in the market for a set of headers, and metal matrix are what I'm looking for. I've heard they are getting hard to buy in some states, though.

I have Random Technology cats on my 98 Z28, they flow well. Eventually will put them on my 06 C6.

Thanks to everyone so far. My tuner suggested Random also. I see they have a few differnt types 7000, 8000 and 8100. I have aftermarket headers and it looks like the 7000 and 8100 would be the best 2 options, what is everyone else running?
