NHRA Class for Callaway SC606
I just ordered a Callaway SC606 and am wondering what NHRA class it would run in?
Best I can tell from reading 2009 NHRA rules is:
A stock C6 has a power to weight factor of 7.48 putting it in Stock Class C. This factor comes from 3217 lbs divided by 430 hp.
A stock Z06 has a power to weight factor of 6.26 putting it in Class A.
A Callaway SC606 has 606 hp and would have a factor of ~5.44 !!
Since the top Super Stock class is A and cover factors 6.00 to 6.49 what class would it compete in?

Call NHRA if you want facts instead of opinions.

the car should run mid 10's in the 1/4.. if you plan on racing alot, plan on installing a 6 point cage. a 6 point cage is good down to 10 flat and up to 11.49ET's..

I would guess Callaway is optimistic about the performance numbers. Just my guess.

The question would be if the 11@125 is an average, or the best run out of dozens with a professional driver on a prepped track.
