Default LS7 Headers on a LS2?

Anyone install Z06 LS7 headers on a LS2? Besides the adjustments made to get them to fit, any one have any issues performance wise? Any one have any positive experiences?

What should I expect if I had this done?

Thanks.

I've gone the other way by installing LS2 headers on my LS7 and they fit just fine so I'm sure you'd be okay doing the reverse.

I think the only differences are most LS2/3 headers use a 1 3/4" primary and most LS7 use a 1 7/8" and the mid pipe on the LS2/3 is 2 1/2 and the LS7 is 3".
You would need to adapt or change the over axle pipes to fit the 3" mid pipe, or buy the smaller 2 1/2" mid pipe.

Anyone already do this swap? What were the adjustments that had to be made to get the Z06 different sized primaries to fit?

Anyone?

If the LS7 headers have a D-port like Kooks, they will not fit a round port head like the LS2 without obstructing flow.

Ive done it full ZO6 exhaust, not a single problem. Engine revs, makes 20 HP/TQ more, sound good too with butterfly open, looks stock for inspections. Cheap compare to aftermarket, ZO6 cat are for 7 L rather than 6L, it is like having high flow cats. I was worried about weight, ZO6 full exhaust weighs about 10 LBS more. Do it. You won't regret. The D port fits the O port just fine. No problem.
