Ive got a loud metal ticking sound coming from the engine. Also after running through a gear, if i do not shift and allow the RPMs to fall back down i get a loud squeak that sounds like a belt slipping.
Ive searched a bit and from what ive found it looks like a loose harmonic balancer in the crank pulley but it doesn't make any squeaking on acceleration.

I see you have an 05. If it's an early VIN you should stop driving it and take it to the dealer ASAP. There is a TSB about it. If you do a search in the FAQ section you should find out all you need to know about the problem.

So from what i described it sounds like the Crank Bolt loosening or the harmonic dampener?

If you suspect the pulley, have a look at it with the engine running. Is it wobbling around like a paint mixer? Does the belt appear to be riding up against the rear flange? Is the pulley (gulp) kissing the front cover?

Will do tomorrow.
Also got the squeaking noise today after hitting a bump in the road. Engine was in gear deaccelerating but was silent until the bump.

Pulley is for sure wobbling a bit. And it may be a little bit back but cant really tell.
Back from the dealership. Said it was the idler pulley so big relief there. They wanted $350 to replace both idler pulleys and both belts. lol Laughable so i payed the diagnostic and left.
