Oem gps/bose
If you remove the GPS/Bose Head Unit from a late model Corvette, do you need to remove the Bose Speakers at the same time?
I was told that the Bose System will not play well with a Non-Bose OEM Speakers.....
Help?

The head unit (Radio/CD/NAV) is separate from the BOSE amp that is specific to the BOSE speakers.
You can run aftermarket Head Units with the rest of the BOSE system intact by using various interface modules to keep all the OEM features.
Of course you will lose the HUD integration.
