Default c6 ZO6 brakes

To change brake pads on the Z do I have to take out the pins to take out pads if I take off the calipur I am having the rotors turned down.

There are two ways to change the padlets:

1. Remove the pad pin bolts (you only need to remove the 2 center pins on the front calipers, and the one center pin on the rear).

2. Remove the calipers.

Most people probably just remove the calipers. The pad pin bolts can be a beotch to get loose.

If you get one-piece pads I think you'll need to remove the calipers.

Why would you turn the rotors??? Do they have a lot of ridges? Will your new pads have different composition?

Even if they're a different pad composition than what you've been running, for the street I just put in new pads.

Thanks for the info will not cut rotor only put ceramic pads on from vette brakes & products.
