Ok so Im gonna be changing my factory manifold over to a fast manifold. I know Im going to need to take a few degrees of timing out from what I understand to compensate for the extra air flow. But what else do I need to adjust to correctly compensate for the new air flow? Thanks for the insight.
I have hp tuners. I havent done the install yet. I want to know where to look after though. Im not sure how to adjust all of the parameters youre talking about. Im pretty novice as far as tuning goes but I really want to learn thats why Im asking.
Fully understand your position...I still consider myself a "novice" with HP Tuners even after a year of tweaking on my car. Your comfortable with logging data correct? What you want to do is see where your Short Term Fuel Trims and Long Term Fuel Trims are running. IMHO if your LTFT's are running > +/- 5% you should look at calibrating both your MAF and VE. Stroll over to HP Tuners Forums and start reading until you are blue in the face. Learning to calibrate the MAF and VE are where you want to start...MAF being easier to grasp than the VE side.

Understand that. I belong to the hp tuners forum already so Im gonna start with some research there I guess. I also need to learn how to tune injectors. I bought a slightly bigger set and want to figure that out as well. Ive asked a few questions over there but those guys just arent as warm as the corvette brotherhood.
.... no doubt there are some experts over on that forum who are more than glad to tell you just how much smarter they are than you....just develop a thick skin, read all you can, experiment and then come back and ask questions when you've run out of ideas.

Yeah I love being told how much a of a tard I am. Like I dont know that I dont know what Im doing already.
Been there...still doing that! To be fair to those guys though I have found if they feel you are truly trying to learn and can provide them with data to work with there are a few guys that will jump in and assist. I've recently learned a ton from "WSTAAB" who also frequents this forum.
