After having trouble with my engine I took it in to the dealership. I got the car back yesterday and when I start it, it will take a sec to find the idle kinda like a cam. If I put it in Drive and release the brake it will accel to 1400 RPMS on its own. I have headers and a CAI on the car thats about it whats going on?
If you had a tune, they may have reflashed the module back to stock. What was the problem you had for taking it to the dealer. Knowing this may help on where to start looking.
I went through some water and the motor cut off. They said a piece of plastic got stuck in the value of the engine which I kind of find hard to believe but they went ahead and fixed it..... they even scuffed up my back bumper.... dealerships are just filled with jack asses. They said they didnt mess with my tune they said my tuner was the person who is making my car act funny, and I said that funny because it drove fine untill I brought my car to your shop.
sorry to say it but you may have some serious damange due to the water. If it was running fine before taking it in then you may have gotten lucky. water has been known to do real bad things to the engines. You may want to check all the electricals under the hood to make sure they are dried out and not causing the problem also. The ECM ( I think that is what it is called) sits right below the battery and it may have gotten wet.

When you say you went through some water do you mean a few inches or a few feet.
with all due respect, what exactly are the "oil VALUES spark plugs?" what CAI do you have on your car? do you have a tune on your car? can you be more specific?

i think he meant oil-valves-spark plugs. Sounds like a bent valve was replaced to me? would be interested in the ticket. My guess is 1. air leak after the MAF sensor (snorkel loose, intake leaking etc..) and the ECM isnt able to adjust for it 2. bent valve and its causing alot of issues. but without knowing what happened forsure and what was done its anyones guess
That CAI is bad news. I wonder how much major, water induced damage that thing is responsible for. Sounds as if the OP was not aware that, with this intake, small puddles can reap big problems.

Check to make sure the bellows ahead of the throttle body is properly seated and the clamps were tightened.
Look at the hoses to the intake manifold and make sure they were all connected.
If you don't find the problem, get a canister of propane, start the engine and open the valve on the canister. move it around the intake and when the idle RPM goes up, you found the vacuum leak.
