Default Quick Wheel ?

Im in the process of doing a rear wide body conversion and was looking at a set of oem Z06 wheels. Im currently running the Ace "Slick" 18x9.5 and 19x11 combo, would the oem Z wheel fit under a base C6 fender without sticking out?

I did try using the search function but, couldnt find any relevant info. Just other people posting pics of there wheels with larger then stock tires under fender..

I don't know how you did it, but Ace Slick 19x11 should not fit under stock C6 fenders.

It fits perfectly fine under the stock fenders, perfect flush with KDW2 295s.

The 18x9.5s also sit fine with stock 245s, havent tried to go any bigger yet but there is some room to play with.

You also have the option of simply keeping the ACE slicks in the rear and using a billet spacer to move them outbound a bit - a 1.5" spacer would be just about right. Lots of guys use spacers - do a search under "spacer" in the General and Technical sections and you will get lots of good info.

The 11" wide ACE wheel is wide enough for a 325 mm tire - same size as the Z06 rear tire (A 325 mm tire can go on 11" to 12" wide rims).

So you can do your wide booty conversion without giving up your current wheels.

The wheels Im getting to replace current setup is already wrapped in Invos, and the rears are 345s.

I just reread my first question and it was to pertain to the front wheels fitting under the base C6 fenders. The offsets on the Aces allow for my Z brakes to clear and still sit flush with fenders.

I am contemplating the wide-booty as well, and also have Z06 brakes all around, so finding front wheels that will clear the brakes and stay inside the fenders is my main issue. The front Z06 wheels will stick out if you use Z06-sized tires. I am told that if you use smaller tires on a Z06 wheel, that they are even or just barely stick out.
