OK I took the car to the track today and Im torching the rev limiter on my 2-3 shift. I have an A4 with 3.42 gears HCI etc etc etc. Anyway I dropped the command WOT shift MPH about 5-6mph and it still did it. I also dropped the command shift rpm by about 300rpm still does it. I also checked the shift pressure (I have a shift kit) and its at max. I made sure that the tire size was correctly scaled etc. Anyway what should I do to fix this? Do I just keep dropping the MPH untill it shifts like its supposed to?
Thanks for your help.
Yeah thats what I changed. I dropped that by several mph and it still does it. I believe the starting command MPH was 51 mph on the 2-3 and I dropped it down to 43 or 42 on the final run and it still hit the rev limiter. So thats what Im asking I guess do I just keep dropping it? My 1-2 command is 31 or 33 MPH and that shift is fine.

what is your WOT shift rpm?
Thesubfloor can be very helpfull, pm him!!
My WOT shift RPM was set to 6400 I knocked it down at the track to 6200 and 6100. I know when you are at WOT your commanded shift goes off the MPH table but I would have though bringing that table down by 8 MPH would have solved the shift issue. This has happened before but 2 or 3 MPH fixed it. I would look at the old tune but my tuner wrote over it and is no longer in his shop and Im pretty sure he didnt save it either.
I did send subfloor a PM so hopefully Ill hear back from him soon.

Not sure if you got my e-mail yet, but I did see a few things in your current tune that looked a little "off" when compared to one of your earlier tunes (which I still have). Let me know if you didn't get it and I'll resend it.

Got your email and changed some of the values you suggested. The shift press properties you suggested are up because of the shift kit. They are supposed to make the shifts happen faster. I can turn them back down but Im not sure that is going to make a difference. Im gonna have to make a run on the street to see if those values made a difference.

If your logged speedo and actual speedometer are not working properly, the car will not shift correctly since the MPH criteria is unknown. Oddly enough that has happened to me with an 05 as well, after I fixed the VSS sensor, the car shifted fine.

Ok I will call GM and get one of these on order. The VSS sensor is the one in the diff correct?
Edit. Found it. Gonna get this replaced ASAP
