Its from the coolant. The dexicool leaves that nasty film on em. Ive seen others post about it before. Mine has it as well. Just get some of that coolant flush and it should get it out of there.

Thats what I was hoping. I read another post about it and it said that its caused from leaky head gaskets and coolant was getting into the combustion chamber.

Look like someone just left the antifreeze in too long it was starting to break down, try useing a solvent that is nice to plastic to remove it, let it soak and then hose it out good with hot water.
I would change the antifreeze again after you run it for the season.

Put some crushed ice in the reservoir and shake. The crud will loosen. No solvent necessary.

That kind of crud with Dexcool usually indicates air getting into the system. Could be a leaking cap. If you are still under warranty, stay with Dexcool, if not you might want to consider G-05.
