The fuel injector duty cycle (IDC) is the percentage of time the injector is supplied with power. The time during which the injector is powered (or activated) is called the injector pulse width (IPW).
In the LS community, is generally not recommended to exceed 85% duty cycle with injectors. Otherwise you will run the risk of the injector not being able to open and close quickly enough, which causes the injector to float half open. This will lean the mixture out, which is not going to healthy for an engine at high revs and under full load.
In my experience, after I made my Cam upgrade, I was at approximately 88% duty cycle. I ran this way with no problems for approximately 1 year until I made a SC upgrade at which time I upgraded to 60# injectors.
The only way to truly know your duty cycle is to have a scan taken with hp tuners or efi live. Normally a large cam with heads will take the stock ones to the limits. Any thing over that and your gonna need to swap them.
