Default Timing cover part number

I am new to LS motors, so please forgive the basic questions. I am helping a buddy install an LS3 motor that he is building in an LS6 car and plan to use the original LS6 ECM. We are trying to use the parts from the LS6 where possible. Here is what I have identified so far as to what needs to be changed.

1. Be sure new crank has the 24X reluctor.
2. Get the cam with three bolt holes so that the correct 1X cam gear can be installed.
3. Install the knock sensors on the outside of the block.
4. Get an LS3 timing cover and cam position sensor.

1, 2, and 3 are covered. A quick search showed that a harness is available to connect up the cam and knock sensors to the original harness and I have part number. #4 is the problem. I can't seem to find the PN for the LS3 timing cover and sensor. PN 12600325 was a "kit" with the cover, sensor, gasket and bolts but is discontinued.

Anyone have the PN for the LS3 front cover and cam position sensor?

Thanks.

Might want to recheck. I'm showing 12600325 as a good number so is GM Parts House and GM Parts Direct.

Contact Gene at Parts House. If 12600325 is no good he'll have the new number. I'm sure they still make the LS3 cover.

better get the ls3 timing gear also, or the sensor won't work. uses the single bolt cam also.

Thanks guys. I found 12600325 in stock. I am going to use Comp Cams 3153KT for a timing set. This appears like it will work, right (with a 3-bolt cam)?
