Default Instructions for spring and shock replacement?

Anyone have a good set of instructions for spring and shock replacement? I know I can muddle through but thought it would make sense to look at some good tech instructions so I can make sure I dont waste time and energy.

Just pop the lower ball joints after you remove the sway bars. 4 bolts for the leaf and then your done. you have to pop the tie-rods off aswell.

Here's a link someone posted a while back about shock replacement. It's about a c5, but AFAIK, it should be almost exactly the same: http://fuzzydiceracing.com/test.htm

Don't know about the springs though.

Since you are doing a shock and spring replacement, the easiest way would be to support the lower control, remove the upper shock mount, unbolt the upper control arm at the frame mounts, the fronts may have a thick washer behind the pin, replace in the same location, lower the control arm, you may need to remove the caliper from the rotor, but not the line from the caliper. You may now unbolt the shock from the lower control arm, crawl underneath and continue to remove the spring, 4 bolts. Reassemble in reverse order. 2-3 hours and you are done.

yes

By removing the upper control arm, the lower control arm will drop and remove tension from the spring. It also gives plenty of room to remove the shock.
