diablo tuner help!!!please!!!
I have an 05 c6 and the diablo is u7191. I connected it to try to tune my car for the first time and when I select performance tune it says "vehicle part number not found in data base" I kept trying over and over and the same thing happens so it wouln't go any further. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Your factory tune is in your car. What he is saying is that there may not be a tune on the diablo or the diablo cant detect your pcm because of a software conflict. When you connected the programmer what mode was your car in? It usually needs to be in accessory for the programmer to read your ecm.

I don't know if the Diablo is the same as Hyperteck, I used to have for my C4..
But when I put the Hyperteck tune in the car, the stock tune would go into the Hypertek, (This prevented someone from buying "ONE" unit & tuning 5 or 6 cars)....
It may be possible that the original put the Diablo Tune in his car... then sold the unit to the OP & it (Diablo) has the tune from the original stock car in it...
I could be totally wrong as it was in 1997 when I used the Hyperteck.. but it did work sort of the same just plug it in and load the tune....

according to their website it holds five different tunes and stores the stock one. It also says you can go and edit the tune yourself similar to hp tuners but without all the parameters obviously.

Your Predator may have an older software version. There is an updated Predator file that can be downloaded that should support your particular 05 car. If you go to diablosport.com, click under support and select "forum" and post your problem someone probably will reply and give you more detailed information.

ok, I made sure it was in accessory mode and still the same thing here is the exact code. 12595692 part number not found in vehicle data base. Here is my vin but I dont know how to find out its dob 1G1YY24U355103629.

First of all you need to find out if your car had been updated with the latest flash. Take it to a dealer and tell them you want the latest flash up date! I went through this as I bought one used also. You can ask for alot of info on the forum, but until you do something yourself you will still get alot of opinions. Just telling you like it is...

Bad news my dealer said he will not update my pcm unless there is a specific problem, and thats just for 1 update. He said it would prob be $800 to give me all the updates depending on how many there are!! Thats crazy. Anyways maybe its my tuner I just found out its version v.8r04 11/6/2006.
