The Edelbrock E-Force base set up can be used with a stock pump, but the better kit recomends using a Z06 pump. My question is why not the ZR1 pump, unless it's the same part #? Also does anybody have flow rates for these pumps? Is there a comparable Walbro alternative to a GM part? How about running an inline pump (TRex style)?
I have a consultation on Wed to set up an installation on my 10 GS, and just want to have all my bases covered. Also interested in looking for a bigger heat exchanger and much bigger water tank. I already know I'll have to relocate the battery to the trunk for the tank (I've got an A6), but I'm OK with that.
So the ZR1 pump is basically a KB BAP from the factory. Never knew that. Looks like it'll be 2 pumps in the bucket for now. Kinda like the set up with Focus fuel pumps for the newer Fords.
In the top pic, is that a stock pump next to a Z06 pump?
