I want to run a 150 Shot but dont want to fully upgrade the fuel system as yet and dont know if I like the BAP method as well.
I need to know how a Stock C6 pump puts out vs a Z06 and whether I might as well just put in a generic 255lph fuel pump in instead of the Z06 unit for the cost and performance.
I have the drivetrain out currently to do my clutch so access isn't too bad for pump replacement.
Why are you messing with your fuel for a 150 shot?
i dont know anyone who has a problem on a 150 shot and stock fuel. if you are really concerned get a stand alone from nitrous outlet.
A BAP is a band aid. I have one on my FI LS3, and it's only there long enough for me to upgrade the fuel system properly.
I've heard of guys running the Z06 pump with the BAP to good effect. But it's still a band-aid imho.
And if you're already looking at changing out pumps anyway, I'd just go ahead and go the Walbro/Denso route.
