Shifter boot, knob and e-brake boot

Shifter boot, **** and e-brake boot
The OEM shifter boot has came off that silver type ring right under the ****. It wont go back on since its sewed onto tiny little staples and tightly wrapped around that silver ring.
The manager at the dealer told me that might not be a servicable part, so I am thinking to just upgrade the shifter boot, **** and ebrake boot to topflights boots, and **** w/accented stitching.
I just priced everything out and it should only come to about $400 for everything I need. I have taken the console apart before to install my MGW shifter but is the shifter boot and ebrake boot farily easy to replace?
FYI: I have an '08 manual corvette.
