Default Running rough (backfiring)

Had American Racing headers, high flow cats, Vararam, 160 degree stat and dynotuning done at ECS 2 weeks ago. Drove back to Virginia and drove a couple of times since with no problems. Just took it out of garage and drove a few miles and suddenly car was barely running and backfiring. Check engine light was flashing. Sounded like it was missing real bad. Have not drove it hard at all since upgrades other than a little spirited. Any ideals? ECS was closed when I called.

Started car a couple hours later. Still running a little rough without backfiring. Smell fuel as if running rich. Any ideals?

while your waiting to get ahold of doug, try disconnecting the battery for like 10 mins or so. then try again after reconnecting it.

Check your plug wires one could have walked off one of the coils.

check things that are easy to see, especially with the vararam. make sure one of the fitting didn't slide off letting air in for example. Check the plug wires as it could have easily gotten a tug during headers install and walked off during driving. Pretty much give a look over anything that is near or around anything that was modified.

Had a chance to look at it today versus dark and engine too hot last night. Looks like one of the plug wires came off. Didn't notice it in the dark. Don't do much automotive work theses days but still feel confident in most task. A little help from the forum from the more experienced is always a plus. Thanks for the help. I'm sure it won't be the last because I've been a vette owner for 8 years and don't see that changing.
