PCV Line removal for Catch Can **LS3**
Im about to go put a catch can on my car. Its a 2009 LS3. Already pulled the fuel rail cover and know where to connect what, but on the LS3's the lines are actually formed tubing with a connection on the end. Its kinda tight in there and I have big *** hands so before I go jerking and pulling, thought i'd ask how those two connectors come off so I dont break them. Thanks in advance.

There should be a white clip you push in on the side of the connector and it will basically move an internal circle to the side you're pushing towards and allow the plastic nipple to slide out and the fitting to disconnect... I'm sure someone else could provide a pic or explain more, but that's the gist of it.
I was looking at mine tonight and to say it is tight is a bit of an understatement. Did you disconnect the electrical connections to get in there? Also, mine has the air box silencer which doesn't allow the Catch Can to be mounted on the front of the block. Where did you mount your catch can. Photos would be a great help if you have them.
Thanks,
Thanks,
not sure if you can see too well in this photo but i made a bracket that mounts to the head but places the can several inches off to the side and forward of the head. allows for can to be cooler and allow for condensation and better oil collection.
Of course, just getting in there to disconnedt the existing hoses is going to be a challenge.
Thanks,
sorry i do not have any photos of the bracket or any better photos of it installed. i really just used some scrap steel and made an "L" shaped bracket to move it up and away from the head. of course you have to change the angle of the bracket (approx 45 degrees) where the can attaches to it so the can sits upright. keep in mind the catch can can be mounted anywhere there is room. maybe on the radiator shroud. i have read that the further it is away from the engine the better it will work. sorry i could not be of more help.

I'll figure it out.
