I already have the BB Fusion exhaust, and my main objective is to have the the thing just sound incredible. While I will take the hp and tq gains, it is not my main objective. So my questions are, will this pass MD emissions if I chose these mods but keep the cats? How much sound will I lose if I keep the cats? Oh and I am thinking about going with the Lethal cam. Finally, will the stock clutch hold up if I only get on it every once and a while? I am a novice to the mod world, so please excuse the novice questions.
P.S. - Is there one set of headers over another that gives a "better" sound hands down?

A buddy of mine in Pasadena just did a ECS kit with a bigger cam, bigger tb, and headers, his car has the NPP mufflers and sounds really good, you should hear it out before you do anything. As for it being street legal, his WOULD be but he deleted his cats. It doesn't throw any codes, so I don't see how it couldn't be. My Father also has a Twin Turbo Vette that passes MD inspection no problem. (He has his cats)
I would also be interested in a surefire answer as well, but I really don't see how it wouldn't be...
EDIT: His clutch had issues on the way home from ECS (In NJ), so my answer to that would be no, your clutch most likely will not hold up. He dynoed 485RWHP
