Default Louder Exhaust ??

I have a B&B exhaust with an x-pipe. I think the Route 66. The whole thing is polished if that means anything, but........................
It doesn't sound as loud as my Aggressive Borla with x-pipe.
Question: Is there anything I can do to this exhaust to make it louder without adding headers, etc. My car is still under warranty and I don't want that voided.
Thanks.

Bullet PRT's IMO are more aggressive, with out the drone of the B&B Bullets. I bet you will like them in comparison to your current setup!

Check them out at: http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/corvette/c6/

Hope this helps,

Mike

OK, I found a pic of my exhaust. Now that I think about it, I think or thought I did get the B&B PRT
w-X pipe.
I want it louder. Is there anything I can do to this exhaust to make it a little louder?
I first had the Corsa Sport, than the Aggressive Borla with x-pipe, then this B&B PRT.
I liked the sound of the Borla with x-pipe the best but changed to this one when I was told it sounded as good but that I could get it in a fully polished setup. It's not as loud as the Borla.
Can I modify this one to get more sound out of it?

Sell it and buy a set of Fusions.

Would need a bi modal kit as well. I thought the fusions were not as loud as the bullets even with all 4 tips open on the fusion.

OP....I think you should take the prt X pipe out and try a stock x pipe. Maybe getting rid of the extra resonator will give you more sound?

They aren't. The drone w/ bullets would just kill me though, and I'm a young guy that likes loud cars.

Instead of buying three different exhausts I would have gone longtubes and then added an exhaust (if necessary). Far cheaper and you'd actually gain horsepower.

My Vette is still under warranty. 3 out of 4 of my vehicles are under warranty but it doesn't stop me from modifying them.

I haven't really lost alot of money.
The car came with the corsa, i switched to the borla and than switched to the B&B. Sold the first two and paid a slight differance. Worth the couple hundred bucks to me.

My question on this thread was.............. is there anything I can do to make what I have louder.
As usual.......... thanks for your useful information.

That looks like the Route66 setup....there is no PRT system with the Route66. If it were the Evolution system it would also have the center muffler which from your pics you don't have.

If you want loud do the Bullets....

The part number on the bottom of the exhaust stamped on a metal tag is:
FCOR-0425
Billy Boat Performance B&B PRT Quad Rnd

Heres a picture of it that matches the photo I posted at the beginning of the thread.
I want louder, but I don't want to offend everyone around me. I do not want bullets.
I just really want an answer to my origional question. Is there anything I can do to make what I have a little louder.
So far, an option someone posted is that I might want to try to remove the B&B x-pipe and go back to the stock H pipe.

As stated a couple times before in this thread already, I simply want to know if there is anything I can do to the exhaust I have to make it a bit louder?

The straight bullet setup sounds obnoctious to me and it's not what I want.

I may just remove the x pipe and see how it sounds.

Your into fitness...and you don't like loud? Man that's the first time I've herd that! lol

Anything you can do to make it louder...huh, well removing the x will hurt performance. All I think of is adding headers. If you don't want to change the mufflers or headers there not much you can do man.

This is a car...not a woman Not a whole lot of variables here!

Are the bullets really that much louder than the fusions? I have not heard the bullets in person but every video I hear of the fusions and the bullets are comparable! I do have the Fusions and they are definately loud and turn heads, but as most of you, I love loud and might do headers and a Lethal Z cam to get that perfect sound.
